The professional career of Fred Nicholas spans over 6 decades commencing in 1952 when he was admitted to the California Bar Association.
Nicholas practiced Real Estate Law for more than 50 years. During that time he became involved in a myriad of related activities including his founding of Public Counsel, the largest pro-bono law firm in the world; representing Synanon, a self-help organization of former drug addicts; developing numerous shopping centers and office tower complexes throughout the United States; and activism in National and Statewide Democratic Politics.
